Parsons Brinckerhoff ANZ has appointed Andrew Schroth – an internal appointee – as its new regional director, Western Australia.

Guy Templeton, Parsons Brinckerhoff president and chief operating officer Asia-Pacific, said that Mr Schroth will be responsible for positioning the business for future growth in WA and is well-placed to do so.

“Andrew displays an ability to identify needs, to build capability and empower teams; all prerequisites for regional growth and local business sustainability,” said Guy.

Andrew has recent experience as Parsons Brinckerhoff’s Infrastructure Delivery Director on Roy Hill with PMC delivery responsibility for full infrastructure activity across design, procurement, and construction civil works, services and non-process infrastructure.

He welcomes the opportunities presented by his new role.

“I look forward to continuing to work to strengthen our footprint in Western Australia through leveraging the considerable capabilities of the WA team,” said Andrew.

“I will, over the course of the next number of months, conduct meetings with clients and stakeholders and work with them to develop and deliver solutions that respond to the needs of this particular marketplace.”

Andrew commenced working for Parsons Brinckerhoff in 2013, and has thirty years’ experience on large-scale infrastructure and building projects. He was the former General Manager Middle East for Alfasi Constructions. He also managed a team on the Northern Territory’s Strategic Indigenous Housing and Infrastructure Program and acted as Project Director for the US$3B Jahor Bahru Gateway Marina Project in Malaysia.
